I am chronically barely on time. Or ten minutes late. I blame this on my dad, who is alway always always early, often too early, like 30 minutes early. I think I got tired of him coming to pick me up at my friend's houses early and having to stop what I'm doing to be ungodly early to church that I just rebelled against being early and now I'm always barely on time, or a little late. It's funny, because I hate being late, but for some reason I can't get my shit together fast enough to be early for anything.
This also applies to any deadlines too. I might even have something done early, but I'll be damned before I send it in then. No, somehow my twisted mind tells me to wait until later to hand it in, sometimes so late that I almost forget to get it in and again I'm sqeaking in at the last second.
Let's not forget about birthdays, and birthday presents. It's not like I don't care, because I do, but for some reason I just don't remember until the end of the day and then I look like a shitty friend or family member. Maybe I am just a shitty friend or family member. Maybe. Usually it's because I have big plans that I can't be executed in the moment I think of them, so I vow to do them later, when I have the time and/or materials in which to do them, and oops, it's now late. Better late than never I guess.
